Over the summer of 2021, Fit Kids Zone worked alongside local community charities and programs KDDK (www.kddk.co.uk) and SDH Academy (sdh-academy.co.uk) in delivering the Birmingham Holiday Activities and Food (HAFs) program to over one hundred children in the local Birmingham communities.
The club was full of different fun and exciting activities that were suitable for all age groups and ethnicity’s, with these ranging from science experiments all the way to gymnastics and ball-based sports! The program also focused on other individual development sports and activities such as dancing and cooking.
Overall, the camp was a huge success and, after a challenging past year or so for the local community, everybody had an extremely enjoyable experience. Owing to the great success of this camp, we are looking into running another HAF’s camp over the Christmas period – keep your eyes peeled for more information!
